Technique #1: Diaphragmatic Breathing (Deep Breathing)

  • Inhale deeply through your nose, allowing your diaphragm to expand.

  • Exhale slowly and completely through your mouth

  • This technique help's to reduce stress and promote relaxation

Technique #2: Equal Breathing (Sama Vritti)

  • Inhale for a specific count (Ex: 5 counts)

  • Exhale for the same count

Technique #3: 4-7-8 Breathing (Relaxed Breathing)

  • Inhale quietly through your nose for 4 counts

  • Hold your breath for 7 counts

  • Exhale for 8 counts

Technique #4: Box Breathing (Square Breathing)

  • Inhale for 4 counts

  • Hold for 4 counts

  • Exhale for 4 counts

  • Pause for 4 counts

  • Repeat

Technique #5: Alternate Nostril Breathing

  • Close one nostril and inhale through the other

  • Close the opposite nostril and exhale through the first

  • Repeat, alternating nostrils
